If you know me, you know that my favorite place is my Writing Cave. 

Spending my days in sweatpants, my fingers stained with ink, yellow legal pad pages spread out before me like playing cards– this is my idea of heaven. But this week I’m out on the road promoting The Puzzle Box. Why? Because The Puzzle Box is out TODAY!

Despite the fact that I’m away from my desk, I’ve had a lot of fun meeting readers this week. This past weekend I was in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, where I grew up, and saw lots of old friends.

It was fun to talk about my book, but a highlight of the weekend for me was going out to buy apples at Eckers.

I think I have eaten a dozen apples already!
